Yuzen Box - December 2012 Review - Eco Friendly Spa Subscription Boxes
I love Yuzen - the products they select are always treats I can feel good about!
The Cost: $26
The Products: Luxurious, healthy and eco-friendly products.
Sibu Beauty Sea Buckthorn Cleansing Bar - FULL SIZE! Value $6.95
Yuzen always manages to find products that smell amazing and this soap is no exception!
Spa Technologies Hydrating Laminaria Oil - 2 oz Value $11.66
Tara Spa Therapy Stress Relieving Bath Salts - Value $4
Ambre Blends Four Essences Natural Fragrances Sample Pack - Value $9
Red Flower Little Flower Candle in Ocean - Value $14
This is my second Red Flower candle (I got my first Red Flower candle in a Pop Sugar Must Have box). I really like the ocean scent.
Sparitual Nail Polish Mini in Hunk of Burnin' Love - .17 oz Value $6.50
Sparitual Mini Multi-Tasker Base and Top Coat In One - .17 oz Value $6.50
I love nail polish minis! If you are looking for vegan nail polish, I recommend Sparitual!
Missy J's Truffley Treats in Mint, Lime, and Sea Salt - Value $2.99
I love finding desserts that are gluten and dairy free - this was a win for me!
Verdict: Another impressive Yuzen box - they do not disappoint! What did you think of this month's box?

Fancy Box Review - December 2012 - Monthly Home and Gadget Subscription Boxes
This is my second Fancy Box (first box review here) and it's my favorite so far!
The Box: Fancy Box
The Cost: $30 plus $7.95 shipping
The Products: Popular products from thefancy.com. You get to specify what types of products you would like to receive - I picked home and gadgets.
Grandpa Edition Grey Beard Head Hat - Value $23
This is a high quality knit hat and will make a great / funny gift!
Awkward Family Photos - Value $15
Lucky Bird Bakery Brown Butter Rice Krispie Treats - Value $5
My only gripe about these is that they didn't include the ingredients. Since I avoid gluten and dairy I couldn't risk trying them, but my boyfriend said they were good!
Multi-Purpose Pouch by Sprayground - Value $15
Abyss LED Watch - Value $60
This watch is pretty cool - and worth nearly double the cost of the box! When you tap the center of the watch it lights up to show you the time.
80spurple.com $15 Gift Card - Value $15
Verdict: This Fancy Box was worth over $130 and I only paid $30! I'm thrilled with the value and the variety of items. My boyfriend loved the LED watch, so the box was worth it to me for that alone.

Mighty Nest Pamper Pack - December 2012 Review - Eco Friendly Monthly Subscription Boxes
Mighty Nestv is one of my favorite sites for eco-friendly products. In addition to their Mighty Pack subscription box (check out my review here), they just introduced a Pamper Pack.
The Box: Pamper Pack by Mighty Nest
The Cost: $30 (free shipping)
The Products: Popular healthy and safe pampering products.
Tru Melange Passion Candle with Clove Bud & Vanilla - Value $20.99
This candle is fantastic! The clove smell is a great holiday scent, and the wax is made from pure beeswax and non-gmo soy. Also worth noting: this candle comes in three sizes and this is the biggest size!
Soapwalla Indulgent Bath Soaking Salts in Lavender & Eucalyptus - Value $10
LuSa Organic Sugar Scrub - Value $9.50
Wow! Both of these lavender products smell amazing, and are perfect compliments for a stay-at-home spa day.
Earth Mama Angel Baby Mint Herbal Lip Balm - Value $3.65
This lip balm is vegan and 100% Natural, plus it also comes in the flavor Coconut Smoothie - I will definitely be stocking up!
Verdict: I am a huge fan of the new Pampering Pack! Every item is full sized, good for you, and a nice little luxury. The value is also great - the items were worth nearly $45.
What do you think of the new Pampering Pack by Mighty Nest?

Birchbox Limited Edition Home Box - December 2012 Review
This year Birchbox offered a limited edition Home Box, and I had to have it!
The Box: Birchbox Home Limited Edition
The Cost: $60
The Products: Home, food, decor and kitchen items.
They included recipe cards and entertaining tips using some of the items in the box. I loved that the recipes were really simple!
Dean & Deluca Rosemary - Value $3.75
Jonathan Adler Playing Cards - Value $10
Birchbox Herringbone Napkins - Value $6
Birchbox Recipe Cards - Value $10
Paperless Post Cards (2) - Value $5
Birchbox Chalkboard Placecards - Value $15
Sabatino & Co. Roma Truffle & Sicilian Salt - Value $20.50
Quirky Citrus Spritzer - Value $4.99
I love the packaging of this salt - plus it smells fantastic.
Core Bamboo Spatulas - Value $15
I love the citrus colors of these spatulas, but unfortunately as soon as I picked them out of the box I got a splinter from the wooden handle - these aren't as high quality as I would have liked!
Antica Farmacista Home Ambiance Fragrance in Prosecco - 100 ml Value $25
This is probably my favorite item in the box - it smells fantastic! It's crisp, fresh, and not overwhelming. I just bought 2 more: one in Prosecco and one in Noble Fir.
P.S. I Made This DIY Set - Value $10
This set included 4 fabric cocktail napkins, and materials needed to paint them.
Verdict: I'm really pleased with the value of items in this box. I discovered some great items, and I really hope they create a regular Birchbox Home subscription - I would defintiely sign up!
Did you get this box? What did you think? (FYI, the box is no longer available, but most items are available for individual purchase in the Birchbox Home Pop Up Shop.

Bruiser Baits (8) - Value $4 each

Julep Maven New Year's Eve Mystery Box - December 2012 Review
This month's Julep Mystery Box had the highest guaranteed value ever ($100 minimum value for $19.99) so it was impossible for me to resist!
Julep Nail Color in Cindy - Value $14
Julep Nail Color in Dendrie - Value $14
Julep Nail Color in ? - Value $14
The glitter polish didn't have a name and wasn't individually wrapped like all the other polishes. I'm guessing it's the exclusive mystery polish they promised for the box?
Julep Nail Color in Lauren -Value $14
Julep Nail Color in Annie - Value $14
I was so happy I didn't get any nail polishes I already had through Julep. I'm ready for spring/summer colors, so these last two are my favorites in the box.
Julep One Step Polish Remover Pads (3)
Julep Hand Cream Packets (2)
Julep The Best Pedi Creme Ever! - Value $22
Julep.com Nail File
Julep Boho Glam Lengthening Mascara - Value $24
I'll use the pedi creme, but not the mascara - it's nice but not my favorite.
Verdict: Not even counting the little extras, this box is worth $114 - awesome! What did you think of your mystery box? Were you happy with the nail polish colors and overall value?

Yay for sparkly holiday nail polishes! I love Zoya!
Heartland Fragrance Co. Bath Salts in White Tea - 5.5 oz Value $5
Denise Richards Volume Extend by Cristophe - 1.5 oz Value $3
These bath salts smell amazing! Thanks to subscription boxes I'm well stocked for spa-at-home days!
Wella Velvet Amplifier - .05 oz Value $.40
While I'm not super pumped about getting this sample in a foil packet, I am pretty excited to try out hair primer.
mark. lipclick in Powerment Petal - FULL SIZE! Value $12
Pleats Please by Issey Miyake - .03 oz Value $.81
Verdict: I think the past Glossy Box values have spoiled me! This one is still great - approx $60, I just wish more of that value was from beauty products and not jewelry. It seems like Jewelmint is popping up everywhere in subscription boxes! What did you think of this month's box? Did you like your Jewelmint piece?
