These bath salts smell amazing! Thanks to subscription boxes I'm well stocked for spa-at-home days!

Wella Velvet Amplifier - .05 oz Value $.40

While I'm not super pumped about getting this sample in a foil packet, I am pretty excited to try out hair primer.

Pleats Please by Issey Miyake - .03 oz Value $.81

Verdict: I think the past Glossy Box values have spoiled me! This one is still great - approx $60, I just wish more of that value was from beauty products and not jewelry. Glossy Box - November 2012 Review - Women's Beauty and Makeup Monthly Subscription Boxes

The past few months of Glossy Box have been amazing, so I had high hopes for this box. Fortunately Glossy Box did not disappoint - 3 full size items in this month's box!

Arganics by NuMe Argan Oil - 10 mL Value $5

Perfumies Solid Perfume Stick in Kissing Bandit - FULL SIZE! Value $7

I was surprised by how much I love this perfume stick! The scent is great, and I really like the application. It's made of coconut oil, beeswax and fragrance.

Illamsqua Ltd Lip & Eye Medium Pencil in Hex - FULL SIZE! $20

I love getting full size makeup items! This shade is very neutral, so I'm not sure how I'll use it yet, but I am a big fan of this brand from a previous Glossy Box lipgloss!

Skin & Co Roma Truffle Serum: Hydro-Toning Day Face Serum - .5 oz Value $18

Epionce Restorative Hand Cream - FULL SIZE! Value $19

One thing I love about Glossy Box is that (so far) any time they include a serum, it's a large enough sample size to try it for a few weeks and see if it actually works.


Verdict: Another awesome month in terms of value - for $21 I received about $70 worth of product! I'm pretty sure I'll use everything in this box too. What did you think of this month's Glossy Box?

Carol's Daughter Almond Cookie Shea Souffle - 4 oz Value $10

This smells heavenly! I love that this is such a large sample as well. (It's half the size as the full size).

Blood Orange Exfoliating Loofa Soap - Value $8

I've never seen a soap like this before! The loofa is in the soap, so it cleans and exfoliates at the same time.

Model Co Lip Duo Lipstick and Ultra Shine Lip Gloss - Value $39

Verdict: I think Glossy Box has been consistently amazing. I love that all the samples are always deluxe or full size. This box's value was approximately $67! What did you think of this month's box?

I immediately tried this cream after opening the box. It has more coverage than other typical BB creams I've tried and I love it.

 Wow! This month's Glossy Box may be the best one yet!

Biolage Exquisite Oil Replenishing Treatment - .16 oz Value $1.15

I used this before straightening my hair and definitely noticed more shine and less frizz.

Ole Henriksen Truth Serum - .5 oz Value $24

I'm excited to put this serum into my skincare routine. The reviews on amazon are great (it helps smooth our lines and wrinkles), and the size of this sample is large enough to actually see the results!

Illamasqua Nail Varnish - FULL SIZE! Value $14

I love this shade of mocha - a perfect nail polish to add to my collection for fall.

Ellis Faas Milky Lips - FULL SIZE! Value $35

This is probably the coolest looking lip gloss I've ever seen! The orange shade is not something I would typically buy myself, but I'm glad I tried it because I actually really like it.

Touch In Sol Feel like Honey Moon Skin Base - Nearly Full Size! Value $19

This sample is 1.06 oz and the full size 1.13 oz so as far as I'm concerned this is another full size item! It's a primer and moisturizer in one and will definitely last a long time.

Verdict: The value on this box is amazing! I received about $93 worth of product in this Glossy Box. I think it's the perfect mix of makeup, haircare, and skincare products. I also love finding out about international products!

Senna Mineral Eyes Shadow Trio - FULL SIZE! Value $24

Love when full sized items are more than the cost of the box!

Blushed Fragrance Packet - Value $1

I don't like most fragrances so it's no surprise that this one wasn't for me.

Figs & Rouge Lip, Face & Body Balm - FULL SIZE Value $6

Alessandro International Pedix Heel Rescue Balm - 30 mL Value $5.55

I love both of these items so much! The Figs & Rouge balm is 100% organic and smells divine. I've been using it on my hands and it's made them incredibly soft.

The Heel Rescue Balm is a big win for me as well. When it comes to my beauty routine, the last thing I usually think about it my feet, so this balm was a nice reminder. More importantly, it works really well. It made my skin very soft, but also dried relatively quickly. 

Sebastian Color Ignite Shampoo - 1.7 oz Value $3

Sebastian Color Ignite Conditioner - 1.65 oz Value $4

The shampoo has sulfate in the ingredients (which I avoid in haircare products) so I wasn't able to sample it. The conditioner was sulfate-free though and I really liked it. The texture is more like a mouse than a typical conditioner. (The instructions said to use a tennis ball size amount).


Verdict: I love Glossy Box! My two favorite products in the box (the balms) are both international brands, so I never would have learned about them or gotten the opportunity to try them if it wasn't for Glossy Box. Also, the value of the items I received in the box was over double the cost of the box. (About $44 worth of items, box cost: $21 or $16.67 a month with the BEAUTYX3 for 3 month subscription).
