Fancy Box Review - December 2012 - Monthly Home and Gadget Subscription Boxes

This is my second Fancy Box (first box review here) and it's my favorite so far!

The Products: Popular products from thefancy.com. You get to specify what types of products you would like to receive - I picked home and gadgets.

Grandpa Edition Grey Beard Head Hat - Value $23

This is a high quality knit hat and will make a great / funny gift!

Awkward Family Photos - Value $15

Lucky Bird Bakery Brown Butter Rice Krispie Treats - Value $5

My only gripe about these is that they didn't include the ingredients. Since I avoid gluten and dairy I couldn't risk trying them, but my boyfriend said they were good!

Multi-Purpose Pouch by Sprayground - Value $15

Abyss LED Watch - Value $60

This watch is pretty cool - and worth nearly double the cost of the box! When you tap the center of the watch it lights up to show you the time.

Verdict: This Fancy Box was worth over $130 and I only paid $30! I'm thrilled with the value and the variety of items. My boyfriend loved the LED watch, so the box was worth it to me for that alone.

iStuck iPhone holder - Value $8

Paris Versus New York - Value $12

This was probably my favorite item in the box. It's a great coffee table book, or a great gift.

Salt & Pepper Bots - Value $16

Sparq Whiskey Rocks - Value $15

I feel like whiskey rocks are really popular this year. We got them in a Birchbox Man box as well, so these will probably end up being a gift.

Milktape USB Cassette Mixtape - Value $15

Pixel Sunglasses - Value $6

Verdict: I'm not sure what to think about my first Fancy box. I am impressed with the value (Approx $70), but I'm not really excited about any of the products. It may just be this month, so I'll definitely give them another try. Did you get a Fancy box? What did you think?

Wow another great new subscription box this week! The Fancy Box comes from The Fancy (pretty straight forward stuff). It's $30 each month (plus $7.95 shipping). (If you're not familiar with The Fancy, it's sort of like Pinterest, but more product focused.)

I love that you can pick what category you want. The only problem is I want more than one category! Which category are you interested in? I'm debating between Women's, Home Goods, and Gadgets.
