Tasterie - Food Allergen Monthly Subscription Box Review - August 2012

Tasterie - Food Allergen Monthly Subscription Box Review - August 2012

Tasterie is a food subscription box for people with food allergies and intolerance. You can select exactly what types of foods you need to avoid and get a box customized each month. Love it! (If you don't need to avoid any types of foods but just want healthy snacks they have an option for that too!)

Tasterie - Food Allergen Monthly Subscription Box Review - August 2012

The Box: Tasterie

The Cost: $15 for the snack box, $20 for the signature box. (This review is of the gluten and dairy free snack box)

The Products: Healthy snacks that are allergen free. (You can select your type of food allergies/intolerance to get a box catered to you).

Tasterie - Food Allergen Monthly Subscription Box Review - August 2012

Baked Lentil Chips in Cracked Pepper - FULL SIZE! Value $4

Nonuttin Cranberry Apple Granola -FULL SIZE! Value $8

These both were delicious and a little too addictive!

Tasterie - Food Allergen Monthly Subscription Box Review - August 2012

Tasterie - Food Allergen Monthly Subscription Box Review - August 2012

Wylde Sesame Pretzels (2) 1 oz bags - Value $2 Total

Barney Butter (2) 1.06 Oz packets - Value $1 Total

Blue Lizard 5 ml and scoop - Bonus items

I love having these Barney butters around for healthy snacking! The suntan lotion and scoop seemed a little random to me. Usually I expect a card from subscription boxes with more background on each product, or to give context to products - but there wasn't one with this box.

Verdict: I love the customization Tasterie lets you have on your subscription! This box also had a terrific value. I paid $15 and received over $20 worth of products.

These snacks are small. Definitely only one serving, but perfect for a quick treat between meals.

Better Batter Gluten Free All Purpose Flour Mix - FULL SIZE! Value $8

I had never heard about Better Batter before, and I'm so glad I discovered it through Savorfull. I've tried a lot of gluten free flour mixes and this is the best one I've ever used.  Also, a lot of other gluten free flour mixes have TONS of ingredients, and I like that Better Batter only has 7! Here's the ingredient list: Rice flour, brown rice flour, tapioca starch, potato starch, potato flour, xanthan gum, and pectin (lemon derivative).

Savorfull also included a Better Batter recipe book in the box - and I can't wait to try more recipes. This is perfect timing for the upcoming holiday seasons!

Better Batter also offers there recipe archive online here.

Savorfull Review September 2012 - Monthly Allergy Free Subscription Box!

Mila The Miracle Seed 1 Day Pack (13 g) - Value $2

Enjoy Life Vanilla Honey Graham Gluten Free Cookies - (2 pack) Value $2

These cookies were the first thing devoured from this box (very delicious!) and I'm planning to try the Mila seed in a my next smoothie to make it even healthier!

Verdict: Savorfull costs $15, and I received about $22 worth of delicious dairy free and gluten free items. I am most excited about discovering Better Batter - and I love that Savorfull sent full size items. This box was a delight!
