Savorfull Review September 2012 - Monthly Allergy Free Subscription Box!

One of my favorite subscription box surprises is when I go to pick up a subscription box and it's much heavier than I expected. That usually means full size items! Savorfull did not disappoint this month!

Better Batter Gluten Free All Purpose Flour Mix - FULL SIZE! Value $8

I had never heard about Better Batter before, and I'm so glad I discovered it through Savorfull. I've tried a lot of gluten free flour mixes and this is the best one I've ever used.  Also, a lot of other gluten free flour mixes have TONS of ingredients, and I like that Better Batter only has 7! Here's the ingredient list: Rice flour, brown rice flour, tapioca starch, potato starch, potato flour, xanthan gum, and pectin (lemon derivative).

Savorfull also included a Better Batter recipe book in the box - and I can't wait to try more recipes. This is perfect timing for the upcoming holiday seasons!

Better Batter also offers there recipe archive online here.

Enjoy Life Vanilla Honey Graham Gluten Free Cookies - (2 pack) Value $2

These cookies were the first thing devoured from this box (very delicious!) and I'm planning to try the Mila seed in a my next smoothie to make it even healthier!

Verdict: Savorfull costs $15, and I received about $22 worth of delicious dairy free and gluten free items. I am most excited about discovering Better Batter - and I love that Savorfull sent full size items. This box was a delight!

Pacific Natural Foods Free Range Chicken Broth (Low Sodium) - 8 oz Value $1

Chicken broth is always great to have on hand. I actually love the sizing of this product (I usually buy the larger cartons and most of it ends up going to waste). I'm going to start buying the 8 oz sizes on Amazon!

Gluten Free Bar - Value $2.50

Yum! This tasted just like an oatmeal raisin cookie!

Verdict: This box was worth the $15 cost alone just to discover Lucy cookies!! That being said, I received about $13 worth of product in this box. (Difficult to determine value for cookbook). I really think the purpose of this subscription box is to discover products that make living with food allergies much more enjoyable. Savorfull definitely was a huge win when it comes to discovering new amazing products!
