Blissmo Box Subscription Review - August Anniversary Special Unboxing
At the beginning of July, Blissmo Box offered a free anniversary special box to anyone who signed up for a year subscription. So... of course I signed up!
The box: Blissmo Box
The price: $19 a month plus 5.95 shipping. If you subscribe at the annual rate, the cost is $228 (free shipping). This is the option I selected since the savings were so substantial. ($71 savings)
The products: A mix of eco-friendly and organic products. From Blissmo: "We curate products that are (a) high design & quality, (b) organic / no or low toxin, (c) eco-friendly / sustainable and (d) awesome, that are safer & better for you, your family & your planet."
Eco Logical Skin Care All Natural Sunscreen SPF 30+ Body - FULL SIZE! Value $15
Natural Herbal Armor Insect Repellent - 2 oz Value $3
This smells like a typical insect repellent. I definitely prefer the insect repellent I received in last month's Blissmo Box.
True Body Products Soap - FULL SIZE! Value $2
I love that this product only has 5 ingredients: Palm Oil, Coconut Oil, Water, Vegetable Glycerine and Sodium Citrate. Also, it gets excellent reviews on Amazon. Very excited to try!
Apple 2 The Core Peeled Snacks - Value $2
These are super chewy and a little more tart than I expected. They were good - I finished the bag quickly - but I don't think I'd go out of my way to buy them again.
Ecover Dishwasher Tabs - 2 tabs - Value $1
These seemed to work just as well my Cascade tabs. Great find!
Maty's All Natural Vapor Rub - FULL SIZE! Value $4
This is a perfect example of why I love Blissmo Box. With every box I am replacing items in my house with greener and healthier alternatives.
Neutrogena Naturals Night Cream - FULL SIZE! Value $10.39
I like the idea of this product, but I did not like the scent. (Fragrance is listed as an ingredient). I wish they would have left a natural product like this unscented.
Verdict: This box was a bonus for signing up for a year of Blissmo Box, so I received about $38 worth of product for free! It would have been cool if this box had more of a theme, but I can't complain!

I hate it when companies send out different boxes to different people! I didn't get the soap or Matys but instead got a useless plastic water bottle with the Blissmobox logo. I don't use plastic water bottles... I subscribe to Blissmobox as I want more natural products. I was also disappointed by the not so natural Neutrogena Naturals.
ReplyDeleteBlissMO was totally not for me!! Don't mean to be " Debbie Downer" but I think honest FB is good. I had 3 different subscription boxes with them at various times this year, and all were almost throwaways.
ReplyDeleteOoooh I really hope I get the soap! That brand has been on my "to try" list.
