Hammock Pack - September 2012 Review - Camping! Indie Monthly Subscription Boxes
This month's Hammock Pack theme is Camping. I'm not much of an outdoorsy type - so getting treats delivered to me is definitely my kind of camping!
Props to Hammock Pack on their packaging again - how cute is this?
The Box: Hammock Pack
The Cost: $25 a month
The Products: Each month is a different mini vacation/escape theme featuring 5-6 artisan items including handcrafted food, accessories, housewares, beauty supplies, and more.
Herbivore Botanicals Healing Salve - Value $5
So happy I discovered this etsy shop! All their bath and body products look amazing!
Oh Sudz Charcoal Soap - Value $7.50
Confession - I keep smelling this soap through the wrapper - it just smells so good!
Halo Soap Tea Tree Mud Mask - FULL SIZE! Value $10
Yay for full size beauty products! I haven't gotten a chance to try this yet, but it smells wonderful.
All Out Nuts Everything Nice Blend - 4 oz Value $5
Yum! These were absolutely delicious!
S'More Bakery 2 pack - Value $6
What a perfectly fitting treat for a camping themed box! I couldn't eat these because of food allergies - but that worked out for my boyfriend, he absolutely loved them!
Verdict: This box is a great value (I received over $33 worth of items) and the items are all truly special! If you love discovering new indie businesses, or just like getting a little "escape" each month - I highly recommend Hammock Pack!

Hammock Pack Monthly Subscription Box Review - August 2012
This month's Hammock Pack theme was Bed & Breakfast. I love the tissue paper!
The Box: Hammock Pack
The Cost: $25 a month
The Products: Each month is a different mini vacation/escape theme featuring 5-6 artisan items including handcrafted food, accessories, housewares, beauty supplies, and more.
Apropros Roasters Coffee - 2 oz Value $3
I could immediately smell this coffee as soon as I opened the box! This small batch coffee is fair trade, organic and roasted, packaged and delivered fresh from Virginia. I checked out their website and they even offer monthly coffee subscriptions!
Folktory Granola Bars - Value $4
Keep It Sweet Desserts Chocolate Chip Cookies - Value $4
Mamas Baby Love Hand Made Wash Cloths - Value $5
Ferris Wheels Eye Pillow - Value $8.95
I'm happy to have this eye pillow in our house for sinus issues. (You can heat it in the microwave for 30 sec on keep in the freezer).
Paradise Bath Boutique Summer Peach Travel Size Bath Products - Value $4
Smelled very peachy! I'll save these for guests next time they visit.
Verdict: I really like the idea of the Hammock Pack subscription: a mini escape each month! I started using these products over the course of a few days, but I think next time I should dedicate some time to use everything at once to truly get the mini vacation experience. Also, I paid $25 and received about $29 worth of product!
