Ali's Bling Box - November 2012 Review - Women's Monthly Subscription Boxes

This is my second Ali's Bling Box, and probably my last - at least for now. (I signed up for a 2 month subscription for 50% off through Totsy).

The Cost: $30 a month

The Products: From their site: "$60 - $100+ worth of high-end products shipped monthly."

Hoop Earrings and Stretchy Band Ring -  Value $10?

(These aren't branded items so I'm guessing at the value).

Metal Cuff Bracelet - Value $10?

Black and Grey Scarf - Value $15?

This isn't my style, so I'll be passing this along to a friend.

Necklace - Value $5?

Unfortunately this necklace arrived broken. It's not good quality so I'm not surprised. (To be fair - I haven't reached out to Ali's Bling Box to request a new one - I imagine they would send me one. I wouldn't use the necklace because of the poor quality, so it's no use sending another one).

Verdict: I'm pretty confused by Ali's Bling Box. October's box was pretty great in terms of quality and value of product. This box was so different, that I have no idea what to expect in future boxes. I won't be resubscribing for now. Did you get this month's box? What did you think?

This product is supposed to be a makeup artist favorite as it works as a moisturizer and primer in one.

Vitivia Pro Vitamin A15 - FULL SIZE! Value $55

I saw these in the New Products section of Birchbox, and I have been thinking about using my points to buy them - now I can buy something else! These mini serum capsules are for "refining pores, smoothing lines, aging, and also reduces skin inflammations."

Vitivia Pro Vitamin C10 - FULL SIZE! Value $55

These capsules reduce hyperpigmentation and fight wrinkles and age spots.  (I read that these are for your morning routine, and the Vitamin A15 are for you night routine).


Verdict: Wow! When I first picked up this box, I must admit I was a little disappointed it was a small priority mail box. As soon as I opened it up though - I was instantly impressed! The value of this box is over $140 and I paid only $15 with the Totsy deal. Even at the regular price of $30 this is a great deal. The size of these products is great as well - now I'm excited to see what the November box will offer!
