This is my first Umba box! I love discovering new independent designers so I thought it was time to sign up!

I was expecting a larger box, so at this point I was hoping good things come in small packages!

Oh Little Rabbit Tea Towel - Value $8

I love that these towels are made from organic cotton, and each tea towel is screen printed by hand. (If you are looking for cute and unique baby gifts ideas, I definitely recommend checking out their screen-printed onesies!)

Luminology Mini Candle in Orchard - Value $15

I like the scent and the packing is cute too! I checked out their site, and the full size candles come in porcelain bowls that look absolutely gorgeous.

Verdict: Thanks to Umba Box I discovered two great new brands. My only (minor) issue with this box is that I was charged twice (on August 1st for September's box and September 1st for October's box) before I received my first box. I hope they iron out that operational issue soon.

  1. FORGET them OR ECO-EMI from EVER not charging 2 months in advance!!! My personal theory is that they use the 2 month's reserves for purchasing items to go into boxes shipping sooner. I've felt this very strongly.
Oh, and I thought this was the WEAKEST Umba box I have gotten since I started subscribing. Mine is still boxed up in a cabinet, I was so disappointed.

  3. I was also very displeased with my Umba Box. It was my first month and I don't think I will continue the subscription.
