When I saw the polishes for this month's box, I wanted this shade and the blue - and I got them both!

I received this facial scrub in my other Birchbox and I love it - it's a great sample size too!
Verdict: I liked the other Birchbox I received this month more, but this is still a good box. Even though I wasn't super excited about the foil packets, I gave feedback on 8 products in this box and that's 8 dollars to spend at Birchbox. ReplyDeleteI just got both of my boxes although they shipped 11 days ago.
ReplyDeleteThe thrill is really gone with BB and their pitiful shipping.
I was SO lucky.. got the plastic zip lock baggie in one box.
The highlights of both boxes were the pink metallic Color Club nail polish and the Boscia cleanser, which is a faily decent size for BB.
They really should be ashamed for the dime sized tube of Dr. Jart BB cream. What a JOKE!

I'm really wondering if the $10 per box is mostly for the ( terrible) shipping and the handling. They put a lot into the big fall brochure this month.. Would have liked better products and no stupid zip lock baggie.
Lately I only get a few "good" items in my boxes. Kinda disappointed in birchbox recently, it seems like when I compare with friends their boxes seem so much nicer! I got the tea, which is great, but I got the green color cube color which is not cute... any tips on how to possibly get better boxes? Or is it just plain luck? I heard that based on tour style profile and how often you review dictates what you get, any clue if that is true?
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I can't tell if there's any pattern to what you put in your profile and what you receive. On one of my subscriptions I filled out my profile accurately, and on the other one I never filled out the subscription - and I can't tell a difference in the types of products I receive.
